The Accutower Duo is something of a split-personality machine, kind of like The Incredible Hulk. At first the two don't seem to have much in common. One's a giant, green superhero and the other is a small, black DVD/CD Duplicator. The similarities are in their respective strengths. On the one hand, you have a smart and capable one-to-one copier that copies DVDs and CDs, let's call that the “Bruce Banner” side of the Duo. On the other hand, it's a powerful two-drive duplicator tower with an 80 GB internal hard drive for great duplicating strength - the “Incredible Hulk” side. Just don't make it mad…you wouldn't like it when it's mad! Just kidding, I had to throw that in there.
So how does one little machine possess such great strengths? It's all in the hardware. The Accutower Duo features two Pioneer DVD/CD burners, the best name in the industry. These drives are capable of burning almost every format, including DVD video, DVD data, CD audio, CD data, rewritable formats, and more. Connecting it all together is the easy to use 4-button controller with a cascading menu system. The two-line LCD display screen features the appropriate intimidating green backlight as well.
You don't need an engineering degree to master the internal hard drive and its functions. The hard drive lets you store a perfect snapshot, or “image” of a master disc for later copies. All of the data contained on a disc is stored and used to produce two perfect copies with every run. This feature is great for saving wear and tear on your master discs. The menu option for working with disc images is appropriately called “Image Manager” and contains all of the functions for storing, selecting, renaming, and deleting disc images. The Select Source menu option lets you easily change the source between the hard drive and the burner drive whenever you want to change “personalities.”
Between the dual duplicating options and its small footprint, the Accutower Duo is a miniature monster. Plug it in, power it on, and put it to work for you! The Accutower Duo is proof that within each of us, oftentimes, there dwells a mighty and raging fury - for disc duplication.
