What is PhotoPro printing?
PhotoPro is a state-of-the-art digital CD/DVD print process that produces extremely durable high-resolution images. The process begins when digital files are reverse printed onto transfer film using an electrostatic procedure. Once the films are printed, they are applied directly to the disc surface using precisely controlled amounts of heat and pressure. The printed images are now permanently adhered to the disc surface with a smooth, high gloss finish.
What are the prints like?
The resulting prints are phenomenal! PhotoPro-printed discs feature full color graphics (using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and White) that are sure to impress. The discs come alive thanks to a high resolution of 600 x 600 DPI and a glossy finish for the best on disc printing possible, guaranteed!
The Electrostatic Print process uses a positively charged toner that is attracted to paper (which carries a negative charge). As the paper is moved through a digital ink bath, the positively charged particles in the toner form a bond with the negative charge on the clear film.
