CDROM2GO is pleased to announce the launch of new CD/DVD printing technology for its duplication and printing services.

How it works.
The new printing technology uses a thermal re-transfer process. The printing process uses dry toner that is electro-statically applied to a film. That film is then re-transferred onto the disc surface using a very large state of the art transfer machine.

The Result.
A 5-color photo like image at 600X600 dpi. It brings color and graphics to life with a high gloss surface that gives the disc an awesome shine. This new method of printing will enhance the overall appearance of the disc allowing for greater visual impact. Also the speed and accuracy of the process allows for many discs to be produced in a single day. The process is currently capable of producing up to 1200 printed discs per hour.

Why it is Important?
The CD/DVD printing process is a major change from the old method that involved printing onto a digital photo coat.
