What is it?
PhotoPro is a state-of-the-art digital press CD/DVD printing process producing vibrant high quality imagery. The process begins when digital files are reverse printed onto transfer film by using an electrostatic procedure. Once the films are printed they are then applied directly to the disc surface using thermal heat and pressure to transfer the printed film directly to the disc. The printed images are then permanently adhered to the disc surface leaving a smooth high gloss finish.
The resulting print is phenomenal! The PhotoPro process produces a disc with full color digital graphics (using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and White) that are sure to amaze. The discs come alive with imagery that is at an ultra high-resolution of 600 x 600 dots per inch and a three dimensional appearance for the best on disc printing possible, guaranteed.
Electrostatic Printing
Electrostatic Printing uses a positively charged toner/inks that is attracted to paper, which in turn is negatively charged. The paper is moved through a digital ink bath; positively charged particles in ink stick to the negative charge on the clear film.
