This is not exactly a sequel to Pohlmann's Compact Disc Handbook, but is much more up to date and covers a lot of the same material and more. Very highly recommended.

  • Video Help's Compatible DVD and Blu-ray Player Lists
    Just as in the early days of CD-R, some older DVD and Blu players and even some new ones have problems reading recordable DVD media. This chart can help you avoid pulling your hair out trying to find out why your disc won't work on your player. It may not be the media or a problem with the recording or format -- it might be player incompatibility.
